Ullapool and Wester Ross
Ullapool itself sits on Loch Broom, an area of stunning unspoilt beauty. The village is an ideal location for exploring the region and surrounding communities. Many people visit and choose to venture out for day trips to the surrounding attractions.

Corrieshalloch Falls, the highest falls in Scotland.
The village itself contains numerous restaurants and bars, offering local produce and live music (Loopallu festival is held just below our front garden!). There are also a number of art centres.
The ferry to the Isle of Lewis sails from Ullapool harbour past our house. You can take days trips or extended island hopping trips to the Hebrides. There are also cruise trips from the harbour that explore the loch and Summer Isles, often encountering dolphins, whales, seals and many seabirds.
Corrieshalloch Falls, Inverewe gardens, Achiltibuie, Lochinver and many other destinations are all within easy driving distance. We also have a 9 hole golf course - part of which can be seen from our rooms.
